Overhauling Services

Specialized Annual Overhauling (AOH) and Capital Overhauling (COH) to maintain, restore, and upgrade critical industrial assets.

Elite delivers structured, safety-driven outage programs that keep plants reliable, efficient, and compliant. From annual planned shutdowns to full life-extension overhauls, we manage the complete cycle—planning, execution, testing, and handover—across power, cement, copper, and solar facilities.

AOH (Annual Overhauling)

Annual Overhauling is a scheduled, routine maintenance process carried out once a year to keep machinery and systems running smoothly. It involves planned shutdowns to inspect, clean, and repair equipment before small issues turn into major problems.

Capital Overhauling (COH)

Capital Overhauling is a comprehensive and extensive overhauling process, typically performed every few years. Unlike AOH, COH involves major repairs, refurbishments, and upgrades to restore or extend the lifespan of critical assets.

Our AOH/COH Methodology

  • Pre-Shutdown Planning

    • Asset health review, risk assessment, job hazard analysis

    • Outage work packs, critical-path scheduling, permit planning (LOTO, confined space, hot work)

    • Spares & consumables planning; mobilization of tools, cranes, scaffolding

  • Execution & Quality Control

    • Safe isolation (LOTO) and systematic disassembly

    • NDT & diagnostics: UT, MPI/DPI, borescope, vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography, laser alignment

    • Repair/replace/refurbish, precision reassembly, torqueing & alignment

    • ITP/QA: inspection test plans, hold/witness points, dimension & tolerance checks

  • Commissioning & Performance Testing

    • Dry/wet runs, interlock checks, calibration & loop checks

    • Load/performance trials, emissions/efficiency verification (as applicable)

  • Handover & Reporting

    • Punch-list closure, as-built documents, test certificates

    • Comprehensive AOH/COH report with findings, spares consumed, tolerances measured, and recommendations

    • Next-cycle maintenance plan & spares forecast; operator refresher training (if required)
